Choosing a school matters, and you want a place where your child feels safe and supported. St Peter’s offers that. Small class sizes help staff give each child the time and attention they need. Strong relationships sit at the heart of school life, shaped by our Christian values and the GROW model. Children learn to use their strengths, show resilience and treat others with care.
We set clear expectations for learning and offer a curriculum that includes art, music, sport and time outdoors. Behaviour is guided through calm routines and positive relationships. Pupils also gain wider experiences through the NEAT Experience, which offers chances to build confidence and try new roles. We work closely with families and take pride in knowing each child well. Staff help pupils grow in confidence and enjoy their time in school.

2 Year Old's Offer
We have funded places available for 2 year olds. This equates to 15 hours per week for those eligible.

Reception Places - September 2026

We currently have Reception places available for children starting school in September 2026.
How to Apply
Applications for Reception to Year 6 places are made through North Tyneside Council’s School Admissions Portal.

Parents are advised to check the Council’s website for deadline dates for Reception applications.

Admissions Process and Further Information
NEAT Academy Trust is the admissions authority for St Peter's C of E Primary School.
Applications for the 2 year old provision and Nursery should be made to the school. Nursery places are allocated according to the Nursery Admissions Policy in the policies section of our website.
