IN THIS SECTION
At St Peter's CofE, we are dedicated to creating an inclusive environment where every student can succeed. We integrate Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) considerations into all aspects of our educational approach, ensuring that each child receives the support they need.
SEND refers to students who require additional support due to learning difficulties, physical disabilities, or conditions that affect their ability to learn and participate in school activities. This includes challenges with communication, cognition, social interactions and physical health.
If you believe your child may benefit from additional support, please contact our Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCo) at stpeters.admin@neatat.org.uk. We will collaborate with you to assess your child’s needs and implement appropriate support strategies.
Our approach to SEND aligns with the NEAT Academy Trust’s values:
- Aspirational: We aim high for ourselves and others.
- Collaborative: We work best when we work together as one trust.
- Inclusive: We welcome and value every individual and foster a sense of belonging.
- Innovative: We are creative and forward-thinking in our work.
- Responsible: We act professionally and ethically in the best interests of the trust community.
By embracing these values, we strive to provide an educational experience that nurtures, educates, achieves, and transforms the lives of our students.
Together, we can ensure that every student receives the support they need to thrive.
